The Judaic Studies Program
In addition to the core faculty in the Department of Religion who teach primarily in the area of Judaic Studies, affiliated faculty teach classes in Political Science, English, and Languages, Literatures and Linguistics. Visiting professors teach courses on Jewish art and architecture and on Judaic literature.
Graduate students may apply for the generous Benjamin Fellowship in Judaic Studies, working under the supervision of the B. G. Rudolph Professor. Undergraduates may submit essays for consideration in the annual Kalina Prize competition for the best paper relating to the Holocaust.
The Judaic Studies Program brings world-renowned guest lecturers to campus, sponsored by generous endowments from the Rudolph, Holstein, and Rothstein Family Endowments.
