The Minor in Judaic Studies:

Students interested in pursuing a minor in Judaic Studies must complete a total of 21 credits as follows:

  • Two courses selected from JSP 114,131,135,215 or 231
  • One course selected from history, art history, sociology or JSP 379
  • JSP 439, Senior Seminar in Judaic Studies
  • Three upper level courses (numbered 300 and above)

In consultation with the Director, students may count related courses (up to 9 credits) towards the minor requirements.  Two years of Hebrew are recommended but not required.  Hebrew 201, 202, 301 and 303 may be counted in the 9 credits.
